“If I let myself really understand another person, I might be changed by that understanding.”
— Carl Rogers
I have always been fascinated by what makes us who we are. The way we think, feel, connect with others, and respond to the world is influenced by countless factors throughout our lives. As a clinician, I believe meaningful therapy begins with curiosity about the person beyond the concerns that initially bring them through the door.
I earned my Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from the Michigan School of Psychology and currently practice as a Temporary Limited Licensed Psychologist. I work with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem concerns, relationship difficulties, emotional challenges, and major life transitions. I also have a particular interest in working with neurodivergent individuals, including those with ADHD and autism.
I approach therapy with warmth, curiosity, and compassion. I believe therapy should be a collaborative process where we can explore what you are going through, identify patterns that may be affecting your life, and work toward meaningful change. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, humanistic approaches, play therapy, and trauma-informed care, adapting my approach to each individual rather than expecting every client to fit the same model.
I am also bilingual in English and Arabic and value working with individuals and families from diverse cultural backgrounds. Culture, family, relationships, and personal values can all play an important role in how we navigate life, and I strive to create a space where those parts of you feel welcomed and respected.
My goal is not to tell you who to become, but to help you better understand who you already are and where you want to go from there.
