"I do not ask the wounded person how he feels, I myself become the wounded person."
- Walt Whitman
I believe every individual possesses the potential for positive change. No matter how deep of a hole you find yourself, there is hope for getting out, for healing.
As a therapist, I am simply a guide to facilitate growth together. My goal is to practice empowerment and empathy to help find your most authentic self and navigate life's problems. In sessions I utilize a variety of approaches such as CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), humanistic, mindfulness-based, yoga, and trauma-informed therapy. I strive to create a safe and welcoming space where clients feel heard.
With a person-centered approach, we will work together to understand the core of the issue and explore what it means to heal. Therapeutic work begins with you, and I will be there every step of the way.
I work with both teens and adults around concerns such as depression, anxiety, social anxiety, low self-esteem, mood disorders, trauma, etc.
